Iconic Yellowstone Sights
Grand Prismatic Spring
Yellowstone's largest hot spring and one of its most recognizable landmarks. Its brilliant blue center and rings of yellow, orange, and red are created by heat-loving microorganisms that thrive at different temperatures around the spring.
Grand Canyon of Yellowstone
One of the park's most dramatic landscapes, the canyon stretches approximately 20 miles and reaches depths of more than 1,000 feet in places. Its colorful canyon walls frame the Yellowstone River and the spectacular Upper and Lower Falls, including the 308-foot Lower Falls.
Old Faithful
No Yellowstone visit is complete without experiencing Old Faithful. The surrounding Upper Geyser Basin contains one of the world's greatest concentrations of geysers and other hydrothermal features.
Mammoth Hot Springs
A remarkable landscape of travertine terraces formed as hot water rises through limestone beneath the surface. Constant mineral deposits create an ever-changing series of white, cream, gold, and rust-colored formations.
Lamar Valley
Often considered one of the park's most rewarding areas for wildlife viewing. Its expansive landscape is home to bison, elk, pronghorn, bears, coyotes, and Yellowstone's famous wolves.
Yellowstone Lake

My family and I have been wanting to visit Yellowstone for years. Gratuity
